Created in 2023 with the support of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic named after Zhambyl. The first concert took place on March 20 in the large hall of the Philharmonic. Artistic director: laureate of international competitions Bauyrzhan Zhylkybaev. The quint includes winners of international competitions Akbar Kiyarstan (guitar), Asan and Zaure Nurbotayev (guitar), Ulanbek Akhmetov (bass guitar), Ertai Mamyrkhan (piano), Khasan Matsayev (cajon).

The quintet’s repertoire includes Kazakh and foreign works, specially written and arranged for guitar.
