Today, at the cultural hub of the Zhambul Philharmonic, the winners of the international online dombra competition “Әлқисса,” organized to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Nurgisa Tlendiev, were awarded. The first place winner was Zhanatbek Gabdullin (Mongolia), and the second place went to Erkinbek Mustafa (Mongolia).
The event was organized in collaboration with the “Otandastar Kory” fund, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the closing moment, the director of the philharmonic, Akan Abdualiev, gave a welcoming speech and presented a dombra made by Kazakhstani craftsmen, supported by sponsors, a book featuring N. Tlendiev’s works, and monetary prizes. Additionally, in the capital of Kazakhstan, the president of the “Otandastar Kory” KZAC presented the third place winner, Nuradil Akkulan, with a special diploma and a ceremonial cloak.
