KAZAKH STATE ACADEMIC PHILHARMONIC NAMED AFTER ZHAMBYL

Today, a festive event titled “Az-Nauryz” was organized at the Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic named after Zhambyl, in honor of the Great Day of Nauryz, the “Great Spring”. The event was attended by all the creative teams of the Philharmonic, as well as the administrative and technical staff. The gathering started with a concert program held outside the Philharmonic.

A table with traditional Kazakh dishes was set, and a competition was held among the teams. Kazakh folk songs and instrumental pieces were performed, and national customs and traditions were honored. The performance of traditions began with the national game “Qyz quu” by the N. Tіlendiev Academic Folk-Ethnographic “Otyrar Sazy” Orchestra, followed by other rituals like “Quda tusu”, “Quyriq bawyr asatu”, “Qyz uzatu”, “Betashar”, “Besikke salu”, and “Tusaukeser”.

In the national game competition, the winners were: 1st place went to the State Choir Capella named after B. Baykadamov, 2nd place to the State Wind Instrument Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and 3rd place to the Technical Department. Competitions in arm wrestling and stone lifting were also held, and the winners received certificates of appreciation and prizes.
