Gulnara Kurambaeva is a pianist, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, soloist of the Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic named after Zhambyl.
She has collaborated with conductors such as Tao Lin (China), Alexander Polyanichko, Anatoly Levin, Valentin Uryupin, Petr Gribanov (Russia), Dorian Wilson (USA), Kanat Omarov, Pavel Tarasevich, Erbolat Akhmedyarov, Muslim Emze, Adil Bestembekov (Kazakhstan), as well as soloists People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhaniya Aubakirova, Fyodor Artamonov, Erkebulan Saparbayev (Kazakhstan), Daniil Kopylov, Yuri Didenko (Russia), Olivier Doise (France) and ensembles of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after T.Abdrashev, Karaganda Symphony Orchestra, Student Symphony Orchestra of the KNC named after Kurmangazy, State Classical Music Ensemble “Camerata of Kazakhstan”, Mangistau Symphony Orchestra, etc.
Conducted master classes in Karaganda, Pavlodar, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey, Petropavlovsk, Zhezkazgan, Aktobe, Almaty, Aktau, Taldykorgan and others, as well as abroad (Georgia, Lithuania).
She participated in international projects such as the International Piano Competition in Almaty, the November Music Fest Classical Music Festival, the SILK WAY project (35 concerts in more than 30 cities in China: Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuxi, Zhuhai, Xiamen, Xi’an, Zhengzhou, Qingdao, Dalian and many others.)
Kurambaeva’s students have become laureates and diploma winners of national and international competitions more than 60 times, held in such cities as Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Astana, Almaty, Pavlodar, Druskininkai, Visaginas, Hamburg, Salzburg, Tashkent, Sumy, Batumi, Baku. One of the brightest students is the laureate of international competitions, famous pianist from Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Alim Beisembayev.
