International relations

The Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Zhambyl hosted a concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Japan.

The purpose of this event: strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries and further development of cultural relations.

The State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after. T. Abdrashev and solo performers from Japan – Mayuko Katsumura (violin) and Kazuhiro Miyamura (oboe), representing the modern world of Japanese classical music.

The program featured works by contemporary composers of Kazakh and Japanese classical music Gaziza Zhubanova, Hiroshi Hoshin, Hiroshi Oguri.

Along with classical music listeners, the concert was attended by the Japanese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Yamada Jun, UN representative Vlastimil Samek and a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
