PHILHARMONIC SOLOIST JANAR SULEIMANOVA ON THE INTERNATIONAL ART STAGE

Janar Suleimanova, pianist and soloist of the Zhambyl Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic, was specially invited to participate in the international “Golden Time Talent – 2025” festival-competition held in London. The festival featured exhibitions by painters, sculptors, and designers, musical and choreographic competitions, and concerts on the Shaw Theatre stage.

This time, Janar served as a member of the jury, composed of renowned cultural figures from 14 countries, sharing her professional experience. As a special guest, she also performed, demonstrating her artistry on the international stage. The two-day festival was a vibrant celebration of culture and creativity, uniting artists from around the world. For her active contributions to the cultural sector and to fostering international collaboration, Janar Suleimanova was honored with membership in the Global Talent Confederation.

Anniversary Exhibition in Paris: A Tribute to Nurgisa Tlendiyev

A commemorative exhibition honoring Nurgisa Tlendiyev—one of the greatest composers of the 20th century, a renowned conductor, and a legend of Kazakh music—has opened in Paris.

The opening ceremony was attended by ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of UNESCO, and Parisian residents.

Titled “Sources of Inspiration: The Legacy of Nurgisa Tlendiyev,” the exhibition celebrates his 100th anniversary. The collection features approximately 70 unique items from the collections of the Association of Museums of Almaty, including manuscripts, musical scores, personal belongings, and the legendary “Dariga dombra” gifted to the composer.

The exhibit is displayed at UNESCO headquarters and will remain open until June 19, 2025.

Nurgisa Tlendiyev was the author of over 500 works, including music for films and theatrical productions, and founder of the “Otyrar sazy” orchestra. His oeuvre holds a significant place in the golden treasury of Kazakh national art.


 						

The Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Zhambyl hosted a concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Japan.

The purpose of this event: strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries and further development of cultural relations.

The State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after. T. Abdrashev and solo performers from Japan – Mayuko Katsumura (violin) and Kazuhiro Miyamura (oboe), representing the modern world of Japanese classical music.

The program featured works by contemporary composers of Kazakh and Japanese classical music Gaziza Zhubanova, Hiroshi Hoshin, Hiroshi Oguri.

Along with classical music listeners, the concert was attended by the Japanese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Yamada Jun, UN representative Vlastimil Samek and a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
