On June 4, in honor of Kazakhstan’s State Symbols Day, a solemn flag-raising ceremony was held at the Medeu sports complex in Almaty

On June 4, in honor of Kazakhstan’s State Symbols Day, a solemn flag-raising ceremony was held at the Medeu sports complex in Almaty. The event took place at the foot of the mountains, providing a picturesque backdrop for the celebration.

The ceremony was attended by Almaty Mayor Darkhan Satybaldy, as well as figures from the cultural and sports sectors, public activists, representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, and youth organizations.

During the raising of the State Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the B. Baikadamov State Choir Capella performed the National Anthem, accompanied by the brass band of the Almaty garrison.

Following the official part of the ceremony, attendees enjoyed a concert program featuring leading creative ensembles and artists from the city.
