Today, April 1, 2025, the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information, hosted the grand opening of the anniversary concert “Älqissa-Nurgisa,” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding composer, conductor, kuishi, and People’s Hero of Kazakhstan, Nurgisa Tlendiev.

This concert marked the beginning of a series of celebratory events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great composer.

As a sign of memory and respect for the legacy of the great master, a basket of flowers was presented on behalf of the Head of State.

The event was attended by outstanding musicians, honored figures of Kazakhstan, international competition laureates, and leading musical ensembles of the country. Among them were the Academic Folk-Ethnographic Orchestra “Otyrar Sazy” named after Nurgisa Tlendiev of the Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic named after Zhambyl, the symphony orchestra of the State Academic Philharmonic named after Erkegali Rakhmadiyev, the State Choir Chapel named after Bakhytzhan Baykadamov, as well as renowned performers whose voices and skills made this evening special.
