Laureate of international competitions, Laureate of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of culture and art. Ermek Kurmanaev received an international education, he studied and interned in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Russia, and the United States of America. He has a certificate confirming the international level of his performing skills and the right to work abroad. In 2004 Cellist Ermek Kurmanaev was invited to the Department of String Instruments at the Kazakh National Conservatory. Kurmangazy, becoming the youngest teacher of the university. In the same year, he received an invitation from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan to become a soloist of the Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Zhambyl.
