The concert covers the work of two great composers: Johann Pachelbel, whose canon and other works have long been a symbol of Baroque musical elegance, and Johann Sebastian Bach, whose legacy continues to inspire musicians and listeners around the world. Fascinating works, virtuoso organ playing and magnificent performance by Gabit Nesipbayev will immerse listeners in the atmosphere of splendor and sophistication of baroque music.
Gabit Nesipbayev (organ) – Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Holder of the Order of “Kurmet”. G. Nesipbayev has been conducting intensive concert activities since 1983. He has toured in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Georgia, the USA and South Korea. He is the first and only organist in Kazakhstan who started the practice of philharmonic thematic concert cycles, including “Organ in ensemble music making” and others. He also conducts fruitful creative work on the processing of Kazakh and Kyrgyz folk songs. In 1995, he released a collection of arrangements of Abai’s songs for voice and organ. His recordings are kept in the funds of Kazakh and Russian radio and television.
