Today, the Regional Communications Service of Almaty hosted a press briefing dedicated to the upcoming concert tour, “Stars Lit by Zhubanov” (Жұбанов жаққан жұлдыздар). The event commemorates the 120th anniversary of the legendary composer Akhmet Zhubanov.
During the meeting, speakers shared details regarding the significance and preparation of this cultural milestone, organized by the G. Zhubanova Aktobe Regional Philharmonic. The upcoming performance at the Grand Hall of the Zhambyl Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic is expected to be a prime example of strengthening interregional cultural ties and fostering a unified musical landscape within the country.
According to the speakers, the program performed by the Kazakh Chamber Choir will feature original works by Akhmet Zhubanov, as well as compositions by musicians who have carried on his creative traditions.
