Within this framework, on August 21, 2025, a solemn creative evening titled “Әлқисса” took place at the Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybaev, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of People’s Artist of the USSR and Kazakhstan, composer, conductor, and kyushi Nurgisa Atabayevich Tlendiyev.
The jubilee of the outstanding composer, who became an entire era in Kazakh music, was organized at the A. Maldybaev Theater. The event was attended by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva, Akim of Almaty Region Marat Sultangaziev, Akim of Zhambyl Region Yerbol Karashukeyev, and the composer’s daughter, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Dinzukhra Tlendiyeva. From the Kyrgyz side, the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Imankulov and the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev participated.
The concert featured performances by Kazakhstan’s leading creative ensembles, honored cultural figures, and Kyrgyz artists.
