Nurgisa was the first Kazakh boy to study at the Moscow Conservatory!

Just recently, the composer’s 100th anniversary was celebrated on a global level at the “Helikon-Opera” music theatre in Moscow.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Akim of Almaty Region Marat Sultangaziev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Dauren Abayev, as well as the leadership of Moscow city and Moscow region, ambassadors of several countries, state and public figures, and representatives of the cultural elite. The composer’s daughter Dinzukhra Tlendieva and granddaughter Dayana Tlendieva showcased the art inherited from their father.

During the concert, Nurgisa Tlendiev’s compositions were performed, deeply moving the audience. The event was attended by over 500 people.

As part of the celebration, a traveling exhibition of the personal belongings of the great poet Zhambyl Zhabayev was organized. In addition, the handicrafts of artisans from the Almaty Region were presented to the public.

True art never dies! Nurgisa’s legacy remains a rich treasure for future generations and will live on forever!
