A Contest That Filled Hearts with Light

Today, in the N. Tlendiev Chamber Hall of the Zhambyl Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic, the city song contest for blind and visually impaired performers titled “I Love You, Life!” took place. This artistic event highlighted the talent and heartfelt sincerity of the participants, giving the audience genuine emotions and warmth.

The event was organized by the Almaty Department of Employment and Social Programs together with the public association “Kazakh Society of the Blind,” with the support of the staff of the Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired Citizens of Almaty. Despite their physical limitations, the performers — gifted and deeply devoted to art — moved the audience and filled the hall with a special emotional atmosphere.

Several partners and sponsors also contributed to the high-level organization of the contest. In particular, the leadership of “Idal-Stroy” LLP supported the award ceremony and expressed sincere appreciation to the participants.

During the award ceremony, Akan Abdualiev, Director of the Zhambyl Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic, took the stage and presented official letters of appreciation to all the winners. In his speech, he emphasized the social and spiritual significance of the contest and expressed the Philharmonic’s readiness to host this event annually as a tradition. He also announced that talented contestants would be given opportunities to participate in Philharmonic concerts, opening new paths for their artistic development.

At the end of the evening, supporters noted that they were filled with inspiration and positive energy, and that the participants’ performances left warm and lasting impressions in their hearts. This event became a true spiritual celebration, proving once again that art has no boundaries.
