Makpal Kazybekovna

Laureate of national and international competitions and festivals. In 2012, for her fruitful work in the field of culture and art, she was awarded a “Certificate of Honor” from the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participated in the event “Days of Culture of Almaty”, which were held in various cities and countries: 2007 — Odessa (Ukraine), 2008 — Stuttgart (Germany), 2012 — Paris (France), 2013 — Urumqi (China), Minsk (Belarus), 2015 — Nice (France). In 2016, she participated in the opening ceremony of the monument to Zhambyl Zhabaev in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. M.Toktaganova takes an active part in all cultural events and tours around the republic, where she adequately represents Kazakh folk music. The repertoire includes folk songs, songs of folk composers – Suyunbai, Zhambyl, as well as songs of modern Kazakh composers.
