As part of a regional working visit aimed at monitoring the implementation of the tasks assigned by the Head of State and the enforcement of adopted laws, Nurtore Zhusip, a Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, well-known public figure and journalist, paid a special visit to the Zhambyl Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic.
During the visit, he toured the building, including the Grand Concert Hall, and also visited the Nurgisa Tlendiev Chamber Hall. During the meeting, Nurtore Baitelesuly held discussions with the staff of the academic folklore and ethnographic orchestra Otyrar Sazy, its Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Dinzukhra Nurgisovna Tlendieva, as well as conductor Zhalgasbek Begindikov.
The Senator also met with members of the Philharmonic’s administrative staff and listened to a number of pressing issues. In turn, Philharmonic Director Nurgisa Daueshev emphasized that obtaining “national” status for the Philharmonic is currently a top priority. He also noted the urgent need for major renovations of the building, the issue of awarding state honorary titles to artists, and the renewal of stage costumes for artistic ensembles, which remain unresolved.
In response, Nurtore Zhusip, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Social and Cultural Development and Science, stated that all the raised issues would be taken into careful consideration, discussed with committee members, and that efforts would be made to address them.
