On November 20 at 7:00 PM, the stage of the Palace of the Republic will host a grand Gala Concert dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Zhambyl State Academic Philharmonic, featuring performances by all of the Philharmonic’s creative ensembles.

This event promises to become a true celebration of Kazakh musical art, showcasing the rich heritage and diversity of national music, as well as the high level of performance mastery of the Philharmonic ensembles.

The stage will feature performances by:
* The N. Tlendiev State Folklore and Ethnographic Academic Orchestra “Otyrar Sazy”
* The T. Abdrashev State Academic Symphony Orchestra
* The State Wind Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan
* The B. Baikadamov State Choral Capella
* The State Classical Guitar Quintet
* The G. Zhubanova State String Quartet
* The State Wind Quintet

As well as renowned soloists, dombra players, and pianists.

The concert program includes gems of national and world classical music. The audience will enjoy works by outstanding Kazakh composers — Nurgisa Tlendiev, Mukan Tulebayev, Erkegali Rakhmadiyev, Tiles Kazhgaliyev, Askar Bestybayev — as well as great world classics such as Ludwig van Beethoven, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Antonio Vivaldi, and Pablo de Sarasate.

The program will feature:
– N. Tlendiev’s kui “Makhamet”
– Songs “Öz elim,” “Qustar äni,” “O, tugan zher”
– Kui “Aqqu”
– Abai’s song “Ayttym Salem, Qalamqas”
– “Merekelik Bi” (Festive Dance) from M. Tulebayev’s opera “Birzhan – Sara”

– An excerpt from L. van Beethoven’s 9th Symphony

Additionally, the audience will hear a dombra “kui tartys” — “Balamishka,” “Alqissa,” as well as complex works for two pianos.
